MATTH. II, 19-23. Defuncto autem Herode, ecce apparuit angelus Domini in somnis Joseph in Ægypto, dicens: Surge, et accipe puerum et matrem ejus, et vade a in terram Juda, defuncti enim sunt qui quaerebant animam pueri. Qui surgens, accepit puerum et matrem ejus, et venit in terram Israel.. Audiens autem quod Archelaus regnaret in Judaea pro Herode patre suo, timuit illo ire; et admonitus in somnis, secessit in partes Galilææ. Et veniens, habitavit in civitate quae vocatur Nazareth, ut adimpleretur quod dictum est per prophetas: Quoniam Nazaræus vocabitur (Isa. xi, 1).
馬太福音二章19至23節。希律死了以後，有主的使者在埃及向約瑟夢中顯現，說：「起來，帶著小孩子和他母親往以色列地去，因為要害小孩子性命的人已經死了。」約瑟就起來，把小孩子和他母親帶到以色列地去。只因聽見亞基老接著他父親希律作了猶太王，就怕往那裡去；又在夢中被主指示，便往加利利境內去了。到了一座城，名叫拿撒勒，就住在那裡。這是要應驗先知所說：「他將稱為拿撒勒人」的話（以賽亞書十一章1節）。
Matthew 2:19-23. But when Herod was dead, behold an angel of the Lord appeared in sleep to Joseph in Egypt, saying: Arise, and take the child and his mother, and go into the land of Juda; for they are dead that sought the life of the child. Who arose, and took the child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel. But hearing that Archelaus reigned in Judea in the room of Herod his father, he was afraid to go thither; and being warned in sleep, he retired into the parts of Galilee. And coming, he dwelt in a city called Nazareth; that it might be fulfilled which was said by the prophets: That he shall be called a Nazarene (Isa. 11:1).
