MATTH. XIII, 44-53. Simile est regnum coelorum thesauro abscondito in agro; quem qui invenit homo, abscondit, et prae gaudio illius vadit, et vendit universa quae habet, et emit agrum illum. Iterum simile est regnum coelorum homini negotiatori, quaerenti bonas margaritas: inventa autem una pretiosa margarita, abiit ct vendidit omnia quae habuit, ei emit eam. Iterum simile est regnum coelorum sagenae missae in mare, et ex omni genere piscium congreganti. Quam cum impleta esset, educentes, et secus littus sedentes, elegerunt bonos in vasa sua a, malos autem foras miserunt. Sic erit in consummatione sæculi. Exibunt angeli, et separabunt malos de medio justorum, et mittent eos in caminum ignis:
「天國好像寶貝藏在地裡，人遇見了就把它藏起來，歡歡喜喜地去變賣一切所有的，買這塊地。天國又好像買賣人尋找好珠子，遇見一顆重價的珠子，就去變賣他一切所有的，買了這顆珠子。天國又好像網撒在海裡，聚攏各樣水族；網既滿了，人就拉上岸來，坐下，揀好的收在器具裡，將不好的丟棄了。世界的末了也要這樣。天使要出來，從義人中把惡人分別出來，丟在火爐裡，
'The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field; which a man, having found, hides, and for joy thereof goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking good pearls; who, when he had found one precious pearl, went and sold all that he had, and bought it. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net cast into the sea, gathering together of every kind of fish; which, when it was filled, they drew out, and sitting by the shore they chose the good into their vessels, but the bad they cast out. So shall it be at the consummation of the world. The angels shall go forth, and shall separate the wicked from the midst of the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire:

ibi erit fletus et stridor dentium. Intellexistis hæcomnia ? Dicunt ei: Etiam. Ait illis: Ideo omnis scriba doctus in regno caelorum, similis est homini patri familias qui profert de thesauro suo nova et vetera. Et factum est cum consummasset Jesus parabolas istas, transiit inde.
「在那裡必要哀哭切齒了。這一切的話你們都明白了嗎？」他們說：「我們明白了。」祂說：「凡文士受教，作天國的門徒，就像一個家主從他庫裡拿出新舊的東西來。」耶穌說完了這些比喻，就離開那裡。
'there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Have you understood all these things?' They said to Him: 'Yes.' He said to them: 'Therefore every scribe instructed in the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings forth out of his treasure things new and old.' And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these parables, He departed from there.
