89:1
Luc. xi, 37-41. Rogavit autem illum quidam Pharisæus, ut pranderet apud se. Et ingressus recubuit. Pharisaeus autem coepit intra se reputans dicere, quare non baptizatus esset ante prandium Et ait Dominus ad illum: Nunc vos Pharisaei quod deCoris est calicis et patinae, mundatis, quod autem intus est vestrum, plenum est rapina et iniquitate. Stulti, nonne qui fecit quod deforis est, etiam id quod dein. tus est, fecit? Verumtamen quod superest, date eleemosynam: et ecce omnia munda sunt vobis.
（路十一37-41。）有一個法利賽人請耶穌同他吃飯，耶穌就進去坐席。這法利賽人心裡暗想，怪祂飯前不先洗手。主對他說：「如今你們法利賽人洗淨杯盤的外面，你們裡面卻滿了勒索和邪惡。無知的人哪，那造外面的，不也造了裡面嗎？只要把裡面的施捨給人，凡物於你們就都潔淨了。」
(Luke xi, 37-41.) Now a certain Pharisee asked Him to dine with him; and going in, He reclined at table. But the Pharisee began to think and say within himself, why He had not washed before dinner. And the Lord said to him: Now you Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of robbery and iniquity. You fools, did not He that made the outside make also that which is within? But yet give alms of that which remaineth, and behold, all things are clean unto you.
