87:1
MATTH. XIV, 23-33; MARC. VI, 47-51; JOAN. VI, 16-21. Vespere autem facio, solus erat ibi. Navicula autem in medio mari jactabatur fluctibus. Erat autem contrarius ventus. Quarta autem vigilia noctis, videns eos laborantes, venit ad eos ambulans supra mare. Et volebat praeterire eos. Et videntes eum supra mare ambulantem, turbati sunt, dicentes: Quia phantasma est, et prae timore clamaverunt. Statimque Jesus locutus est eis, dicens: Habete fiduciam: ego sum: nolite timere. Respondens autem Petrus, dixit: Domine, si tu es, jube me venire ad te super aquas. At ipse ait: Veni. Et descendens Petrus de navicula, ambulabat super aquam, ut veniret ad Jesum. Videns vero ventum validum, timuiL.

(Matt. xiv, 23-33; Mark vi, 47-51; John vi, 16-21.) And when evening was come, He was there alone. But the boat was tossed by the waves in the midst of the sea, for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night, seeing them labouring, He came to them walking upon the sea; and He would have passed by them. And seeing Him walking upon the sea, they were troubled, saying: It is an apparition; and for fear they cried out. And straightway Jesus spoke to them, saying: Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answering said: Lord, if it be Thou, bid me come to Thee upon the waters. And He said: Come. And Peter, going down out of the boat, walked upon the water to come to Jesus. But seeing the wind strong, he was afraid.

Et cum coepisset mergi, clamavit dicens: Domine, salvum me fac. Et continuo Jesus extendens manum apprehendit eum, et ait illi: Modicae fidei, quare dubitasti? Et cum * ascendisset uaviculam, cessavit ventus: et statim fuit navis ad terram ad quam ibant. Qui autem in navicula erant, venerunt et adoraverunt eum, dicentes: Vere filius Dei es.
他將要沉下去，便喊著說：「主啊，救我！」耶穌立即伸手拉住他，對他說：「你這小信的人哪，為甚麼疑惑呢？」他們上了船，風就止住了；船立時就到了他們所要去的地方。船上的人都來拜祂，說：「祢真是神的兒子。」
And beginning to sink, he cried out, saying: Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus, stretching forth His hand, took hold of him, and said to him: O thou of little faith, why didst thou doubt? And when they had come up into the boat, the wind ceased; and straightway the ship was at the land to which they were going. And they that were in the boat came and adored Him, saying: Truly Thou art the Son of God.
