But Jesus said to them: Suffer the little children, and forbid them not to come to me; for of such is the kingdom of heaven. And when he had laid his hands upon them, he departed thence. (Luke xv, 1, 2.) Now the publicans and sinners drew near to him to hear him. And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying: This man receiveth sinners and eateth with them. (John vii, 1.) After these things Jesus walked in Galilee; for he would not walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him.
