Eisdem quoque discipulis illius narrantibus didici, qnia duo nolii es viri. atque exterioribus studiis eruditi germani fratres, quorum unus Speciosus, alter vero Gregorius dicebatur ejus se regulae h in sanc a conversatione tradiderunt. Quos idem Pater venerabilis in monasterio, quod jux'a Terracinensem urbem construxerat, fecit habitare. Qui multas quidem pecunias in hoc mundo possedcrant, sedcunc a pauperibus pro animarum suarum redemptione largiti sunt, et in eodem monasterio permanserunt.
From the same disciples of his who related it, I learned that two noble men, learned in outward studies, brothers by blood, of whom one was called Speciosus and the other Gregorius, gave themselves over to his rule in a holy manner of life. These the same venerable Father made to dwell in a monastery which he had built near the city of Terracina. They had indeed possessed much money in this world, but bestowed it all upon the poor for the redemption of their souls, and remained in that same monastery.
我又從述說此事的、同一批他的門徒得知：有兩位出身高貴、精通外在學問的親兄弟，一個名叫斯佩基俄蘇斯，另一個名叫貴格利烏斯，在聖潔的生活中將自己交託於他的會規。這位可敬的父使他們住在他於特拉齊那城附近所建的一座修道院裡。他們在這世上原本擁有許多錢財，卻都為救贖自己的靈魂分給了窮人，並留在那同一座修道院中。

Quorum UItIIS, scilicet Speciosus, 385 dnm pro utilitate monasterii juxta Capnanalu urbem missus fuisset, die quadam frater ejus Gregorius cum fratribus ad mensam sedens atque convèscens, per spiritum sublevatus aspexit, et vidit Speciosi germani sui aui mam tam longe a se positi de corpore exirc; quod mox fratribus indicavit, atque festinans cucurrit, jamque cumdem fratrem suum sepultum.reperit, quem tamen hora ea qua viderat exisse de corpore invenit.
When one of them, namely Speciosus, had been sent for the good of the monastery near the city of Capua, one day his brother Gregorius, sitting at table with the brethren and dining, was raised up in spirit and beheld: he saw the soul of his brother Speciosus, though placed so far from him, depart out of the body; which he presently made known to the brethren, and hastening ran, and found that same brother of his already buried, yet he found that he had gone out of the body at that very hour in which he had seen it.
當他們中的一位，就是斯佩基俄蘇斯，為修道院的益處被差往加普亞城附近時，有一天他的兄弟貴格利烏斯正與弟兄們同席用飯，忽然靈裡被提，就看見他的兄弟斯佩基俄蘇斯的靈魂——雖然離他如此遙遠——離開了身體；他隨即告訴弟兄們，並急忙跑去，發現他這兄弟已經下葬了，然而查明他正是在自己所看見的那一刻離開了身體。
