126:1
Qua in re aperte datur intelligi quae erit in illa incorruptibili vita notitia, si vir iste adhuc in carne corruptibili positus prophetas sanctos, quos nimirum nunquam viderat, aguovit.
As other religious men who were present testified, at the hour of his departure he began to behold the prophet Jonah, and Ezekiel too, and Daniel, and to call them his lords by name. And while he said that they had come to him, and with lowered eyes rendered them the homage of reverence, he was led forth from the flesh. In which matter it is plainly given to understand what the knowledge will be in that incorruptible life, if this man, still set in corruptible flesh, recognized the holy prophets, whom assuredly he had never seen.
