Gregory to Nonnosus. May Almighty God show to your heart with how much devotion and love I am joined to you. And if I cannot fulfill this through letters, yet whenever I shall find opportunity, I will take care to show it by deeds. Moreover, paying the address of salutation, I declare that, when your humble lord Maurentius comes, concerning the possession which your glory has requested, I will in all things comply.
