Gregorius a Anthemio subdiacono. Insinuatum nobis est ancillas Dei quasdam b Nolanæ civitatis, in c Aboritam domo commorantes, nimiam victus vestitusque penuriam lustinero. Quibus ex praecepto Dei subvenire nos convenit, et inopiam carum, in quantum possumus, donante Domino, sublevare. Propterea experientiae tuae præsenti jussione Inaudamus, ut de hac præsenti nona ind!ctione, quadraginta in auro cis solidos dare dcbeas, et deinceps auccedentibus indictionibus annuos viginti solidos ministrare, qui tuis pos-int rationibus imputart.
額我略致副執事安泰彌。有人向我們陳明，諾拉城某些天主的婢女，住在阿波利塔宅中，忍受飲食衣著的極大匱乏。按神的誡命，我們理當救助她們，並盡我們所能，靠主的恩賜，緩解她們的貧乏。因此我們以現今的命令囑咐你的幹練，叫你從現今第九年度徵稅期起，給她們四十金幣，此後在接續的各徵稅期中，每年供給二十金幣，這些都可記入你的帳目。
Gregory to Anthemius the subdeacon. It has been intimated to us that certain handmaids of God of the city of Nola, dwelling in the house of Aborita, endure too great a penury of food and clothing. It befits us to succor them by the precept of God, and to relieve their want, as much as we can, the Lord granting. Therefore we command your experience by the present order that, from this present ninth indiction, you should give them forty solidi in gold, and thereafter in the succeeding indictions supply twenty solidi yearly, which may be able to be charged to your accounts.

Praeterea Paulino presbytero monasterii sancti Erasmi, quod in latere d montis Soractis situm est, sed et duobus monachis in oratorio sancti Archangeli servientibus, qnod in c Lucullano castro 507 juxta sancti Petri basilicam esse dignoscitur, binos te in præsenti tantummodo solidos dare præcipimus, qui et ipsi tms rationibus imputentur. Ita ergo fac, ut impensæ mercedis tu quoque participium sOrtiaris.
