Januaria, the bearer of these presents, relates that she suffers very great trouble contrary to justice from the freeman Anastasius and from Bonifacius, so much so that they strive—as she herself says—to expel her from a possession which she asserts she has held for very many years. And since she has petitioned that she ought to be defended by ecclesiastical protection against them, let your Experience summon the aforesaid men to itself, and admonish them that they presume to do her no injury. But if they believe that anything can justly be their due against the aforesaid woman, let them choose judges together with her, and let whatever shall be defined between them be carried out, by your good offices, for the tranquillity of the parties.

Sed si d missas ibi fieri suprascripta conditrix forte voluerit, a dilectione lua presbyterum noverit postulandum, quatenus nihil tale a quolibet alio sacerdote ullatenus præsumatur. Sanctuaria vero suscepta sui cum reverenia collocabis.
因此，至親愛的弟兄，倘若上述的建築依法確立於你的堂區之內，且證實其中並無安葬遺體，那麼在先領受合法捐獻之後——即在收益方面，提供十枚免於官賦稅捐的索里迪金幣，並以市政檔案作保——你就當隆重地祝聖上述祈禱所，但不舉行公開的彌撒；如此行，使該處在日後既不建洗禮所，你也不設立主任司鐸（cardinal presbyter）。但倘若上述的女創建人或許願意在那裡舉行彌撒，就當讓她知道要向你所愛的請求一位司鐸，好使絕無任何別的司鐸擅自行此類之事。至於所領受的聖物，你當以應有的敬意安放。
And therefore, most dear brother, if the aforementioned construction stands by right within your parish, and it is established that no body has been buried there, then, a lawful donation having first been received—that is, in revenue, providing ten solidi free from fiscal taxes, and secured by the municipal records—you shall solemnly consecrate the aforesaid oratory without public Masses; in such wise that in that same place neither in future times shall a baptistery be built, nor shall you appoint a cardinal presbyter. But if the aforesaid foundress should perchance wish Masses to be held there, let her know that a presbyter is to be requested from your Beloved, so that nothing of the kind be in any way presumed by any other priest. The holy relics received you shall place with due reverence.
