Gregorius a importuno episcopo AUellano. Ea qux provide disponuntur, fraternitatem tuam credimus libenter amplecti. Et quia ecclesiam sanctæ Mariæ b Campisonis in tua c parochia positam, presbytero vacare cogno'imus, praesentium portitorem Dominicum presbyterum 578 in eadem ecclesia ut praesse debeat, a nos certum est deputasse. Ideoque fraternitas tua ei emolumenta ejusdem ecclesiæ faciat sine cunctatiohe praestari, et c decianæ fructus indictionis, qui jam percepti sunt, præJiclo viro fac sine mora restitui, quatenus ejusdem ecclesiae utilitates, cnjus emolumenta consequitur, Deoadjutore, sollicite valcat procurare.

Gregory to Importunus, bishop of Avellino. We believe that your fraternity gladly embraces those things which are provided for with foresight. And since we have learned that the church of Saint Mary of Campisonium, situated in your parish, is vacant of a presbyter, it is certain that we have deputed the bearer of this letter, the presbyter Dominicus, to preside over that same church. Therefore let your fraternity cause the emoluments of that same church to be furnished to him without delay, and cause the fruits of the tithe of the indiction, which have already been collected, to be restored to the aforesaid man without delay, so that, with God's help, he may be able carefully to provide for the interests of that same church, whose emoluments he obtains.
