Gregorius " Donito defensori. Filius noster Fortunatus, abbas monasterii sancti b Severini, quod in bac urbe Romana situm est, fatores praesentium monachos suos illic pro recolligendis mancipiis juris sui monasterii, quae illic latitare dicuntur, dirigens,! petiit ut experientiae tuæ ei debeant adesse solatia. Eapropter praesenti tibi attctoritate præcipimus, ut eis in omnibus salva ratione concurrere ac opitulari festines, quatenus, te illic coram posito, atque in hac causa ferente solatia, salubriter haec citius valcant quae sibi injuncta sunt ad effectum, c Deo auctore, perducere.

Wherefore by the present authority we command you that you hasten in all things, saving reason, to concur with them and to help them, so that, you being placed there in person and bringing aid in this cause, they may the more speedily and healthfully be able to bring to effect, God being the author, the things which have been enjoined upon them.
