Gregorius Petro subdicaono. Quanto apostolicæ sedi ab Ecclesiis reverentia æteris exhibetur, tanto eam in earum decet esse nitione soll citam. Et quia domus vel fines atque possessiones a Tauromnitanæ ju i Ecclesiæ pertinentes ab actionariis dicuntur nostræ Ecclesiæ contra rationis ordinem occupatæ, experientiæ tuæ præsentis hujus præcepti pagina doputamus, quatenus, cognita veritate, si ita est, cuncta quæ occupata didiceris in ante fatæ Ecclesiæ perisse jura restituas.
額我略致副執事伯多祿。眾教會向宗座所顯的敬意愈多，宗座就愈當在保護她們一事上殷勤盡心。既然屬於陶羅梅尼烏姆教會權利的房屋、地界與產業，據說被代理人違背情理的次序而侵占，損害了我們的教會，我們便將本訓令的文書委託閣下：查明真相後，若果真如此，就將你所查知被侵占並已從上述教會的權利中失喪之物盡數歸還。
Gregory to Peter, subdeacon. The more reverence is shown to the Apostolic See by the churches, the more it befits it to be solicitous in their protection. And since the houses, boundaries, and possessions belonging to the right of the Church of Tauromenium are said to have been occupied by agents contrary to the order of reason against our Church, we depute to your Discretion the page of this present precept, so that, the truth being known, if it is so, you restore all that you learn to have been occupied and to have perished from the rights of the aforesaid Church.

Quia vero perventi ad nos, vivente adhuc Victorino episcopo, ejusdem Ecclesiæ perisse pecunias, ad earum requisitionem te Secundino fratri et coepiscopo nostro volumus præbere b solatia, et utilitatibus ejusdem Ecclesiæ in quo necessarium fuerit salva æquitate concurrere. Ita etinim cunta quæ in hujus præcepti pagina continentur effectui macipare festina, ut de æquitate servata præfati episcopi relationibus ipse lauderis.
但因有消息傳來說：當主教維克托利努斯尚在世時，該教會的款項有所失喪，我們願你在追討這些款項時，扶助我們的弟兄兼同僚主教塞昆狄努斯，並在不違公平的前提下，於一切必要之處相助該教會的益處。故當急速將本訓令文書所載一切付諸實行，好使在公平得以保存之下，你自己也在上述主教的呈報中得著稱讚。
But because it has come to us that, while bishop Victorinus was still living, moneys of that same Church perished, we wish you, in the recovery of them, to afford assistance to Secundinus our brother and fellow bishop, and, saving equity, to concur in the interests of that same Church wherever it shall be necessary. So then hasten to bring to effect all things that are contained in the page of this precept, that, equity being preserved, you may yourself be praised in the reports of the aforesaid bishop.
