CAP. XXXV, VERS. i. — Igitur Eliu hæc rursum loculus est. 14. Superborum immensa loquacitas. — Omnis qui multa loquitur, in locutione sua semper incipere studet, quatenus Inchoatione ipsa suspensos auditores faciat, lit eo attentius taceant, quo quasi novum audire aliquid exspectant. Eliu vero alia finiens, alid incessanter exorditur, ut imtnensa loquacitas per subjuncta semper initia coutinuetur. Sequitur:
第三十五章第一節——於是以利戶又說了這些話。十四、驕傲之人無窮的多言。——凡多言的人，總在言談中力求彷彿在起頭，好使他藉這開場使聽眾懸念，好叫他們越發專注地緘默，因他們越發期待彷彿要聽見甚麼新奇之事。但以利戶結束了一事，又不住地起頭另一事，好使他無窮的多言藉不斷添加的開場而得延續。下文接著說：
Chap. XXXV, Verse 1. — Therefore Elihu spoke these things again. 14. The immense loquacity of the proud. — Every one who speaks much always studies in his discourse to be beginning, so that by the very inception he may make his hearers held in suspense, that they may keep silent the more attentively, the more they expect to hear as it were something new. But Elihu, finishing one thing, ceaselessly begins another, so that his immense loquacity is continued by ever-added beginnings. There follows:
