V ers. 12. — Ecce universa quae habet, in manu tua sunt, tantum in eum ne extendas manum tuam. 69. Deo perseverantiam tribuente. — Ac si aperte dicat: Electi uniuscujusque bona sic tibi tentanda exterius tribuo, ut tamen ipse noveris, quia perseve- rantem mihi illum in mentis radice conservo. Ubi et bene subditur:
第十二節：——看哪，凡他所有的都在你手中；只是不可伸手加害於他。六十九、神賜下堅忍。——彷彿祂明說：我如此把每個選民的善事交給你在外面試探，然而你自己要知道，我在心的根基處為我保守他堅忍不變。在此也恰當地接著說：

God bestowing perseverance. — As if He plainly said: I so grant the good things of each of the elect to be tempted by thee outwardly, that yet thou thyself mayest know, that I preserve him persevering for Me in the root of the mind. Where also it is well subjoined:
