Verse 12. From the commandments of His lips I have not departed. 43. To search out God's will in the Scriptures is another solicitude of the righteous. — Just as servants who obey well are ever intent upon the faces of their masters, so that they may quickly hear and strive to fulfill what they command, so the minds of the righteous, through their intention, stand attendant upon the almighty Lord, and in His Scripture behold as it were His face; so that, because through it God speaks all that He wills, they so far diverge not from His will, as they recognize that same will of His in His utterance.
