V ers. 11. — Egrediuntur quasi greges parvuli eo- rum, et infantes eorum exsultant lusibus. 48. Ut sicut majora ad habendam concessa sunt, ita multi germinent ad custodieodum. Verse 11. — 'Their little ones go forth like flocks, and their infants exult in play.' 48. So that, just as greater things have been granted them to possess, thus many should spring up to keep watch. But because he said 'They exult in play,' lest we should believe the very play of the infants in the house of the unrighteous to be something very base, subjoining, he says: Verse 12. — 'They hold the timbrel and the harp, they rejoice at the sound of the organ.'
