Verse 10.—'Therefore be ye all converted, and come.' 44. We ought to be converted to God by faith, and to come by works.—These words of exhortation he shapes properly for the elect, whom he calls to eternity. They are invited in two ways, namely, that they be converted and that they come: let them be converted assuredly by faith, let them come by works. Or certainly let them be converted by forsaking evil, and let them come by doing good, as it is written: 'Turn away from evil, and do good' (Ps. xxxvi. 27). But wondrous is that which is added:
