I bid. — Eratque vir ille magnus inter omnes Orien- tales. 8. Quantis divitiis afflueret. — Orientales viros esse praedivites quis ignorat? Magnus ergo inter Orientales exstitit, ac si aperte diceretur: quia et divitibus ditior fuit.
