C ap. xxii, vers. 2. - Nunquid Deo comparari potest homo, a etiam cum perfectae fuerit scientiae? 1. Scientia nostra divinae comparata, ignorantia est. - In comparatione enim Dei, scientia nostra igno- rantia est. Ex Dei namque participatione sapimus, non comparatione. Quid ergo mirum cum illud quasi per doctrinam dicitur, quod sciri potuit etiamsi ta- ceretur? Qui adhuc Dei potentiam quasi defendendo subjungit:
（第二十二章第二節）——人豈能與神相比，縱使他有完全的知識？一、我們的知識與神的相比，乃是無知。——因為與神相比，我們的知識乃是無知。因為我們是藉著在神裡有分而有智慧，並非藉與祂相比。那麼，當那本可不言而知的事被彷彿當作教訓來說時，又有什麼可稀奇的呢？他仍彷彿要維護神的大能，補充說：
(Chapter 22, verse 2) — Can a man be compared to God, even when he shall be of perfect knowledge? 1. Our knowledge, compared to the divine, is ignorance. — For in comparison with God, our knowledge is ignorance. For we are wise by participation in God, not by comparison with Him. What wonder, then, when that is said as though by way of teaching which could have been known even if it had been left unsaid? He who still, as though defending the power of God, adds:
