I bid. — Maledicta sit pars ejus in terra, c nec am- bulet per viam vinearum. 80. Iniqui, amissa fidei vet justitiae rectitudine, reatu maledictionis ligantur. — Quisquis in vita prae- senti recta agit et adversa sustinet, laborare qui- dem d in adversitate cernitur, sed ad benedictionem haereditatis perpetuae consummatur. Quisquis vero perversa agit, et tamen prospera recipit, seque a malis actibus nec donorum largitate compescit, pro- sperari quidem conspicitur, sed reatu perpetuae ma- ledictionis ligatur. Unde recte nunc dicitur: Maledicta sit pars ejus in terra. Quia etsi ad tempus benedicitur, in reatu tamen maledictionis tenetur. De quo et apte subditur: Nec ambulet per viam vinearum.
In the same place. — Cursed be his portion in the earth, neither let him walk by the way of the vineyards. 80. The wicked, having lost the rectitude of faith or of righteousness, are bound by the guilt of a curse. — Whosoever in the present life does right things and endures adverse ones is indeed seen to labour in adversity, but is brought to consummation unto the blessing of an eternal inheritance. But whosoever does perverse things, and yet receives prosperity, and restrains himself from evil deeds not even by the bounty of gifts, is indeed beheld to prosper, but is bound by the guilt of an eternal curse. Whence it is now rightly said: Cursed be his portion in the earth. For although he is blessed for a time, yet he is held in the guilt of a curse. Of which it is aptly subjoined: Neither let him walk by the way of the vineyards.
同處。——願他在地上的分被咒詛，也不容他行走葡萄園的道路。八十、不義的人喪失了信德或正義的正直，就被咒詛的罪責所捆綁。——凡在今生行正直之事並忍受逆境的人，固然被看見在逆境中勞苦，卻要成就而得永恆基業的祝福。但凡行乖僻之事，卻得順境，並且連藉施捨的慷慨也不約束自己遠離惡行的人，固然被看見亨通，卻被永恆咒詛的罪責所捆綁。故此如今恰當地說：願他在地上的分被咒詛。因為他縱然一時蒙福，卻仍被扣在咒詛的罪責之下。論此又貼切地接著說：也不容他行走葡萄園的道路。

Via nam- que vinearum est rectitudo Ecclesiarum. Qua in re sive haereticum, sive carnalem quempiam nil obstat intelligi, quia via vinearum, id est rectitudo Eccle- siarum amittitur, dum vel fides recta, vel rectitudo justitiae non tenetur. Ille namque per viam vinearum ambulat, qui, sanctae universalis Ecclesiae praedica- tionem pensans, neque a fidei, neque a bonorum actuum rectitudine declinat. In via quippe vinearum ambulare est sanctae Ecclesiae Patres velut depen- dentes botros aspicere, quorum verbis dum intendit in labore itineris, amore debriatur aeternitatis. Se- quitur:
For the way of the vineyards is the rectitude of the Churches. In which matter there is nothing to hinder either a heretic or any carnal man being understood, because the way of the vineyards, that is, the rectitude of the Churches, is lost, when either right faith or the rectitude of righteousness is not held. For he walks by the way of the vineyards who, pondering the preaching of the holy universal Church, turns aside neither from the rectitude of faith nor from that of good works. For to walk in the way of the vineyards is to behold the Fathers of the holy Church like hanging clusters of grapes, upon whose words while one intends in the labour of the journey, one is made drunk with the love of eternity. There follows:
因為葡萄園的道路乃是眾教會的正直。在此事上，理解為異端者或任何屬肉體之人都無不可，因為葡萄園的道路，即眾教會的正直，一旦不持守正確的信德或正義的正直，便喪失了。因為凡斟酌聖而公教會的宣講、既不偏離信德的正直、也不偏離善行的正直的人，就是行走葡萄園的道路。因為行走葡萄園的道路，就是仰望聖教會的教父們如同垂懸的葡萄串，在旅途的勞苦中注目他們的言語時，便被永恆之愛所陶醉。接著說：
