Haeretici ad praedam vigilant. — Ad praedam vigilant qui verba justorum ad sensum proprium semper rapere conantur, ut per haec perversis filiis panem erroris c parent. Heretics watch for prey. — They watch for prey who always endeavor to snatch the words of the just into their own private meaning, that by these they may prepare bread of error for their perverse children. Concerning which bread it is said in Solomon, in the words of the woman who bears the type of heretical wickedness: Stolen waters are sweeter, and hidden bread is more pleasant (Proverbs 9:17).
